OUR VISION

The vision of Calling All Skaters in Barcelona is to represent Jesus to our local skate community in a personal and authentic way. As a part of our residency you will have the opportunity to serve alongside our staff, get involved in our weekly activities such as Bible studies, skate sessions, and other forms of outreach. In addition, each resident will be encouraged to pursue projects that engage their own abilities and passions in representing Christ in the skate community . This program has a large focus on 1 on 1 discipleship. It is designed to meet you where you're at and equip + inspire you to step into where you want to go in whatever unique form that may look like.

THREE MONTHS INCLUDE

  • Personal and collaborative projects

  • Trainings + Teachings with our other residents designed to teach and equip in healthy leadership.
    (Topics may include but are not limited to: theology of work, theology of sabbath, grit and embracing tension, rhythms of reflection, hospitality and the future,  sustainability, health in the digital age (our relationship to phones/devices/AI), creating culture, and more)

  • Teachings/Trainings and Talks designed for skateboarders (Topics may include but are not limited to: creating culture in the skate community/finding your crew, what is “skate ministry”, skateboarding as the launchpad into different industries)

  • The best city in the entire world to skate

  • Connection to local skate community

  • Integration into the Calling All Skaters community (Macba mornings, bible studies, BBQs, ect.)

  • Local events (skate events, open mic nights, creative workshops)

  • 6 Professional Coaching Sessions (including golden circle sessions, discovering your ‘why’)

  • Integration into our YWAM Barcelona Community

WHO IS THIS FOR:

  • Skaters who want to step into the fullness of their calling and understand deeper levels of what they were uniquely designed to do.

  • Skaters who are willing to be uncomfortable and step into leadership.

  • People with a passion for skateboarding. (Open to skateboarders of any level)

  • Skaters with a desire to be a representative of Jesus in the subculture of skateboarding.

  • Skaters who desire to grow in holiness and fullness with the Holy Spirit
