: to take deep pleasure in knowing who they are and being in their presence.
The classic YWAM mission statement is “to know Jesus and make Him known”.
The Light of Delight is a fresh expression of this same mission, as we believe that our light cannot be hidden, when we genuinely dig deep into knowing and experiencing Jesus together, through loving each other and serving our community in practical replicable ways.
The Light and Delight DTS is rooted in Barcelona, where YWAM has a history of allowing creatives, intercessors, and servant leaders to develop the vision God has put in their hearts for this city in key areas such as the Arts, Skateboarding, Futbol, and Hospitality, the Catalan community. These environments of influence are not only natural in Barcelona but are also easily accessible in many different contexts around the world, whether on outreach or back in your home.
The Discipleship training program, undergirded by loving staff, and experienced teachers from around the world, is designed to help establish a firm foundation for your relationship with Jesus as a follower and one who can lead others to follow Him as well. This is taught through a curriculum of core components modeled by the life of Christ, so that you can be equipped to live a high impact missional life, rooted deep in a coherent and intimate relationship with Jesus. It is our goal to guide you through this process in a way that is practical, relevant to the modern global environment, and replicable in your life no matter where God leads you.

What you will experience.
As a result of this program, you WILL be changed. You will learn how to better read and understand the scripture and to discern Gods voice in your everyday life. You will know more about who you are in the sight and design of God. You will practice and experience your spiritual gifts, engage in intercession for the community and the nations. You will learn how to share the Good News, with your mouth and your actions. You will be pushed deeper in your dependance on God himself, personally and collectively. You will worship with all your heart. You will be challenged relationally and build long lasting relationships with your students and staff. You will be exposed to different cultures, languages and world views, both within and abroad. You will be inspired, you will be convicted, you will be equipped through hands on experience. Together we will delight in the Lord and be the Light that He declared we are in Him. In the end you will NOT be the same.
FASE DE FORMACIÓN
¿Estás listo para ser transformado y transformar el mundo? Jesús quiere cambiar el mundo que te rodea, pero comienza contigo. La Fase de Enseñanza es un tiempo para aprender lo que significa seguir plenamente a Jesús en la manera radical a la que Él nos llama, y para descubrir lo que implica vivir ese cambio junto a otros. ¿Estás dispuesto a darlo todo por la vida que Jesús tiene para ti? Te prometemos que vale la pena.
Jesús nos invita a una nueva manera de vivir, ya sea en el campo misionero o de regreso en casa. Estamos formando seguidores suyos que escuchen su voz y sean personas de su presencia, sin importar el lugar ni la posición. Dondequiera que Él nos guíe, iremos, llevando la revolución cotidiana.
FASE DE ACCIÓN
El Evangelio es la buena noticia de que el Reino de los Cielos ha venido y está viniendo para tocar cada área de la vida, atendiendo las necesidades físicas, emocionales y espirituales del mundo. Participarás en llevar la presencia del Cielo a través del cuidado, la evangelización y el servicio en ministerios de misericordia, proclamando la Buena Noticia del Reino de Dios.
